View Full Version : Which Mel Book?
Amphiblien 01-15-2003, 09:15 PM I've been thinking of buying one or both of these new books:
1. Complete Maya Programming: An Extensive Guide to MEL and the C++ API
2. MEL Scripting for Maya Animators
Can anyone make any recommendations?
Thanks

I posted a more detailed reply to the older thread. Bottom line is that they are different books, the biggest difference being that Complete Maya Programming covers the API while MEL Scripting for Maya Animators has a ton of production MEL examples relevant to effects and character rigging.
Get both! They're cheap!
