Hi, I'm new to video, sorry for silly question but I tried my search and couldn't find a word about this. What does exactly "motion graphics" stand for? What makes it different from video composition? Which software should I use? I'm a pc user, as far as I know Apple offers Motion, and Maxon just released the mograph module. Is there any pc equivalent to apple's motion software? It's just I don't want to spend my money on the wrong software, I have plan to buy autodesk's combustion. I'm still finding what suites better for title animation and abstract animation for backgrounds.
