View Full Version : Morpher and Biped problem
Nanoflux 03-12-2002, 09:42 PM Hello everyone! I´m very new to the character-animation scene but I´m currently working on a project where i've created a low-poly gamecharacter of myself, made him animatable with biped and messed around a little with facialexpressions and lipsync. But now I'm wondering how to combine the two? I want to have him running ant talking for example... but the morphtargets... if they don't have animation I can't morph between them. What is the deal there?
Would really appreciate any help you can offer.

I thought about detaching the head and doing it that way but that will screw up my smooth-modifier won't it? There will be a noticable seem where the head meets the body won´t there?
Create your moprh targets from the pose position (base model), then add a morpher and load channels. Put physique above the morpher and you are ready to re envelope, tweak adjust and finally animate with biped.
If you still have a smooth modifier in the pipe, collaspe to a simple mesh object. Good luck it is harder than it sounds.
