Another quick cartoony portrait. This guy is a real nerd. He has an aptitude for physics and chess, he spends his time studying, playing dungeons and dragons and watching red dwarf.

Very stylish and humorous in its simplicity. I really like the crazy flow of his pose, too.
Perhaps the book and hand (the hand's spiral pattern looks very nice in my opinion) could be a little sharper. Other than that, nice job.

Another great piece!
Seems like you have an original style emerging here Dale, I hope you keep going with it. Can't wait to see more!

I'm glad to see that you're on this track, Dale. This is the kind of work that I always find refreshing. I dig the character design. Show me MORE!! lol.

Hey, thanks everyone. I am just trying out new styles really. It is very enjoyable.
Some days I want to paint photorealistic sci-fi stuff, while other times I feel in the mood for something silly. Unfortunately I dont get much time to paint, perhaps a few hours at the weekend (if I am lucky).
I would love to hone my art more. I am waiting for the next challenge for some inspiration and motivation. I wasn't able to participate in the last one due to insanely prolonged crunch at work. :argh:
Anyway, I will definitely be in the next challenge. Hope it's a good one. :arteest:
