View Full Version : Skin Wrap in XSI ?
Adriano-Zanetti 06-30-2006, 01:22 PM Guys, for those who are familiar with 3ds Max, I'm trying to find the equivalent operator in XSI of what would be the "skinwrap modifier" in Max. Basicly it's a deformer that attaches a mesh to an other one using a vertex to vertex deformation. the idea here is of course to drive a high rez mesh using a low rez mesh (easier to enveloppe).
Thanks for helping.
Cheers,
Adriano

Cage deformer is probably what you're looking for.

could you shrinkwrap deform the low rez mesh to the high, envelop the low then GATOR the weights over to the high?
GATOR can do this in Ess and Adv.
