View Full Version : Texture editor cluster problem???
John-Bellamy 06-29-2006, 09:42 PM Hi everyone, I've come across a problem i keep having with the texture editor in XSI. This is whats happening, if i have a model of a building or something in front of me and i apply a phong material to one side and another to another side this generates my 2 clusters. When i then apply the multicoloured reference grid texture to them seperately and select both clusters and view them at the same time within the texture editor so that i can move and place them. They both appear but one is always stuck with a weird projection while the other is fine?? though if i select the weird projected cluster on its own and refresh the texture editor its back to normal?
I've tried freezin the model several times but that doesnt work.
has anyone else encountered this?
thx

Does this occur when you move your mouse cursor over the texture editor viewport?
Does the object render that way?
It could just be an OpenGL display issue?

no its just occurs anyway and i dont render because its the actual UV's in the texture editor that r given a strange projection as opposed to the one i originally gave them. Each set of UV's on its own is fine when its viewed in the texture editor but when i select multiple ones and refresh the editor then it will give all but one of the UV sets weird projections. and cos of this i cant position all the different UV sets so i can stamp the UV and bring it into photoshop ready to texture.
