View Full Version : Problem with edge looping on face!
yoshi99 06-29-2006, 04:30 PM Hi, everyone:thumbsup:
Can anyone give me advice on obtaining edge loops on my model, I must of started off wrong. I looked at reference from Stahlberg that showed where edge loops should go, but I
still can't seem to figure out where to start when comes to applying it on my model...
Any help:D

take a look at this wip of mine

as you can see your edgeloops are slightly in the wrong area, you need to analyze the muscular structure of the face so that it will deform properly when animated

So should I start over? Is the topology far from being fixed?

anatomy is a good place to start, but be careful not to follow them piece by piece as fat is distributed differently on facial types.
But for topology, this forum is full with great topology and edge flow.
But if you need to know how to get started on it, maybe take a look at my timelapse i did in my speed models thread (first link in my sig).
