Hello all . some days ago somewhere (i don't remember exactly where) i saw a video which was something like that : a steady camera in one place and a man walking in front of it many times . and i saw him in the final video walking one in front of the other the same man . i thought obsiously thats what he did . i did it too . i put the camere in one place and started walking around . all i want to do is the same . i want to put myself 2-3 times in the same video . whatever i do i don't see a good result the image is losing colors. i've tried various modes such add, lighten etc . How can i do that anyway ?

Thanks

No need for blend styles different from normal.
Roto yourself out, clone that footage and use it on an empty( or clean) plate of the background.

If the camera does not move at all (stays in the same position), and nothing else moves in the shot you can also try an "Echo" effect (that's what it's called in After Effects anyway). Also don't forget about a difference matte with some clean background footage.

The difference matte is ok but deepnds on the source vision. DV doesn't work so good. I tried this trick on a DVD menu with my little boy running into frame 3 times (you select the boy/menu item that you want), I found that I needed to roto out alot of rubbish from the shadows anyway, and I stupidly shot it outdoors with some waving leaf shadows too.
