Hi,
I created an Ik Spline to control the tail of a squirel. I then made a cluster for each of the curve (IK spline) vertices in order to animate it more easily.
The problem is when I move the entire squirel the clusters stay at their original place. I can still use them correctly but if the squirel is far from it's original place, the clusters are very far from the squirel.
I tried to parent the clusters to the root bone of my hierarchy, but it makes weird results on the tail.
Someone knows how I can make the clusters follow the tail of the squirel please ?

Thanks

LOL im your man.

Ive been animating a squirrel for a month now with a spline tail.

Make your cluster on the point.
Make a controler to control the point. (locator would do)
move the pivot to the cluster it will control.
Parent the cluster to the controler. (It will group the cluster to keep its position)
If the controler doesn't move the cluster check off relative in the clusters attributes.
Now you must have a main control for the squirrel to move it around. Make that the parent of your controlers for the cluster.
Now when you move your squirrel the tail controls should follow.

Heres a picture of my squirrel rig.
If this doesn't help enough PM and we'll get your squirrel rig working GREAT..
I love squirrels.
