Position: Post Production Supervisor for Lucasfilm Animation (U.S.)
Position Summary: Manages and oversees entire post production process and ensures a successful delivery of every show.
Responsibilities:
Create, manage and update various post production schedules and reports in conjunction with the Associate Producer.
Track retakes from overseas studios to ensure that all final shots are delivered in a timely fashion in order to lock picture.
Schedule with outside facilities.
Maintain a strong communication flow between Editorial, Production and Production Accounting departments to ensure that all needs are being met.
Generate POs with outside vendors and track costs to ensure that services are performed within budget.
Communicate any concerns to the appropriate department head.
Participate in the hiring of post production personnel if necessary.
Coordinate deliverables with distribution entities.
Identify outside vendors as necessary.
Work closely with Production Accountant to supply accurate information for budget reports.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 years experience in post production supervisory role, preferably on an animated feature or an episodic TV series.
Expert knowledge of digital post production technology.
Complete understanding of post procedures, production and workflow.
Excellent communication/people skills.
Ability to multi-task.
Ability to motivate a team.
Strong financial and budget management skills.
Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and to work well under pressure.
Effective organizational skills.
Advanced problem-solving skills.
Flexible when it comes to problem solving.
