...where eerie stuff is lurking around.
Photoshop & Aiptek tablet, about 20~25 mins.
Little Jack was sent to his his sick grandma's home, but... if it hadn't been for the friendly deer hunter, he probably would never have arrived there. Who knows what lurks out there in the dark besides the commonly cute wolves and bears?

Great topic choice! Daw, for 25 mins thats pretty amazing, love the structures. Maidith, cute idea, like the backlight... though the tree seems to have eyes, which weirds me out!
here's mine, about 20 mins, photoshop:

Alien in the Moonlight
About 20 minutes with my Wacom and Bauhaus Mirage.
I have no idea why, I just felt like drawing an alien who looks like he's made of bubblegum. :)
these are all fantastic so far, just a couple I want to mention:
Vyse: I love the atmosphere of yours
daw: That's a fantastic structure, I love the look of that thing!
Love the idea of alien bubblegum: They invade, we chew them up and pop them. They can still be green as long as they're sour apple. Mmmmm sour apple.

Not sure what possesed me tonight but I saw this and did a 10 minute piece using a charcoal stick.
I painted a quick color layer in Photoshop that took another 20 minutes and adjusted the contrast and small blur.

Even though I had no chance to make something any good compared to what had already been presented, I decided to have a go. 25mns, and painted with only 3 colours, white blue and some grey for the moon (except the background which is a gradient :P) . Photoshop+tablet

Title: Any Port In A Storm
Time: 25 Minutes
App: Corel Painter IX
Tools: Digital Watercolor, Vine Charcoal, Pencil (2b), Blender Stump
I got thinking that I love the look of sailboats under the moonlight, but, decided I wanted to simplify to get more done in the 25 mins, so I went with a cleat. The line isn't so "yar", oh well :) The title is just, you know one of those cliche phrases that just barely fit, so I used it.

I watched one of the videos in the tutorials thread called NewPaint.avi. I redid it on my own and adapted it to the "Under the Moonlight" topic. 25 min in Photoshop (for once) on a Cintiq. Next time I'll promise I'll be using AliasStudio again ...

Daaaaaaaaaaaw Stoooooooooooop / kidding
love all the entries.

Wow - I'm seriously feeling every single one of these entries! I was hoping it wouldn't be everyone painting werewolf pics, but so far there hasn't been one - hopefully I can get some time later to contribute? Or is it too late? I'll do an imaginary friend then, but...
Everybody (and I mean 'EVERYbody'), beautiful interpretations!

SamsonsReaper - Great one once again - how do you create such an illusion of realism? - you really need to make a tutorial to show us how to get such vivid light in your sketch - and nice subtle texture too

Yeah, thanks for the comment, always nice for us, the not-"OMG look at that sketch it's like a complete chef d'oeuvre that look as much as a sketch as mona lisa as a piece of toilet paper" sketching artists that never (or barely ever...) manage to draw amazed comment from other artists( especially from the "OMG look.." ones :). Anyway always nice for us to see we're not forgotten. We're not as good as some of the aliens that make this forum, but at least we try ^^.
And to return the favour...
I always like incoming dark spooky clouds on the moonlight :) you'd have waited a few more minutes before painting this piece and the moon would have been half hidden by the clouds :) nice timing :D
