chudofsinister 01-15-2003, 04:03 AM Has anyone here ever used reactor to model clothing within max? I remember Discreet kinda saying a year ago that it could be done, when they were selling the software module. How would you go about it. anyone, thanks.

What about using reactor cloth?
Here's how ya do it:
You need a selection of vertexs...can be a whole object, or just say, the verts that make up a skirt.
Now, you need to create a reactor cloth collector helper object.
Now you need to add a reactor cloth modifier to your selection of vertexes.
Now you need to set-up your dynamic parameters...(Consult manual).
And then you need to run the sym.
It's not too bad.
If you are planning on using it for a character, make reference hulls for the arms, legs...aw hell...the whole body, and use those to deflect the cloth.
Hope that's of some help.
