anyone here know of a good plugin package that does realistic modelling of vegetation and other foliage? xfrog? onyx tree? natfx? the purpose of it is for architectural viz + animation

It really depends on your application; a few trees? Do they all need to be unique? Are we talking about lots (10,000+) of trees? Are you using vray?

I've only used natFX so far, but I've found it versitle enough for just about everything I need. The best feature about the package is that all the folliage you make is unique... no more repeated patterns in your final renders.
