Title: BatMobile
Name: Ryan Berg
Country: USA
Software: Maya, mental ray, Photoshop

Wanted to model a car that everyone could recognize, but still different from what I have seen. I was a huge fan of the original Batman show growing up and felt this model posed a nice challenge for me. C&C welcome.

Funny model)
...
Work over lighting. It's too dark near the wheels.

I agree that the lighting needs to be bumped up a bit. However I would modify your overall lighting set-up - the car is black, and currently some of the detail and definition is getting lost in shadow. You're also loosing detail and definition on the interior as well - it's hard to pick out details in the close-up.

...it also looks like there are very few ray bounces in the scene. I say this beacuse there's very little AO between the tires and the platform, the underside of the car and the platform, or around the raised lip of the platform. ....however that may be due to how the lights are set-up. The additional bounced light would help bring out the car's features.

Otherwise: great job on the model! Very cool:thumbsup:

I'm feeling it too. The render is a little fuzzy for me but the modeling is top notch (I like those wheels on it). Easily my favoritest Batmobile! Great job!

JTD: Thanks a lot for the comments. I am working on improving the overall look of the image for my reel and I will keep your points in mind.
