Hey everybody,
I am new at this so bear with me. I am currently working with Maya 4.5 and I am trying to complete an animation which is going to include 4 to 5 characters. This is the first character of the series. The character is going to have a combination of anime and american styles (big hands, long legs but more detail). Like I said I am new at this so any crit will help out tremendously.
I need to know how to model the clothes, the picture that I hope is attached shows how I am doing this now. Can you guys help, Do you model the geometry over the original arm or do you extrude from the arm like the picture I have provided. Be as harsh as you want with your critique.
