View Full Version : Turning edges...
Caravaggio 01-15-2003, 02:05 AM Is there a way to turn the edge of polgons? I haven't seem to come across one and in recent models, I've been getting into more details where something like that would be helpful.
I mean, where you have a quad, it's actually two tris, I want to turn the cross division to connect between the other two vertices.
Any help appreciated.

Also, check SwapDiagonals:

But this can be done with commands in c4d, i.e., Structure > Edit Spline > Move Up[Down] Sequence. This is also usable for polygons other than splines. That is,
Untriangulate -> Move Up Sequence -> Triangulate
causes flipping the diagonal. Inversely,
Untriangulate -> Move Down Sequence -> Triangulate
then we will find the original state.
Cheers,

Cool, that's what I was looking for. I just never noticed those commands were still un-grayed when in poly mode.
