I'm not sure how appropriate this post is, but I'm at a desperate state. I am unable to batch render my file, and I'm hoping to fiind a few people who would be willing to take a small piece of it and do an overnight render for me.

Currrently, all batch render attempts crash Maya (3.5 on Mac OSX), including the command line and terminal window. I've been working at a solution for a while now (2 weeks), but I just got a call that someone would like to see a sample next week. If I can't render, I have no sample.

My total animation is 2000 frames, so I'm hoping to find 4 or 5 volunteers who could render 400 or so frames overnight this week, and send me back a movie file (just a save from fCheck). Then i could assemble the pieces this weekend.

I realize this is probably an unorthadox request, but isn't this what the 3D community is all about? Thanks tremendously to any takers.

Seems like it might be difficult to send a movie back ...it will be a big file....You'd probably have better luck sending people cd's to burn for you
