We are currently seeking an experienced Environment Modeler to work onsite in San Diego.
This position is a 6 month contract initially, however, there is a great opportunity for extension and eventual fulltime conversion.
The game title is a AAA Sports game for both the PS2 and PS3.
Duties:
1. Polygonal Modeling of Character Assets
2. UV Mapping
3. Texture Creation and tuning for NTSC
4. Web Research for Reference Material
5. Normal Map creation using ZBrush
Requirements:
- 3+ yrs Maya.
- 3+ yrs of game production.
- 3+ yrs Modeling and texturing
- General knowledge of games production.
- Adaptation to new tools quickly.
- Experience using ZBrush is a big plus.
Please Note:
- This is a 6 month on-site contract position.
- The hourly rate range is $35-40/hr DOE. Time+1/2 for overtime.
- Local candidates preferred. No relocation assistance provided.
