Only extra example I know of is in this thread (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=355508&highlight=tim) by Tim C. I know what you mean, this module does so much that it's hard to know where to get started. Seeing more examples would give a much better idea of it's power. I'd love to see Tim's file for creating that bridge he made. Oh well, for now best idea is just to play around I suppose.

Are you guys still having troubles at C4dPortal or is it me?
It shows I'm logged in but then when I try to goto one of the tutes it keeps saying I'm not.

Strange, I haven't had people submitting that kind of an issue yet.
It might be that you still have an old c4dportal cookie stored on your pc. Delete any c4dportal cookies and see if that fixes it.

Done but still having the same troubles.
I had three cookies (all dated today) that I trashed.
I log in and then go to the MoGraph tute page.
Then I click on one of the video tute links (BTW - there's broken image links on that page).
This sends me to a page telling me I'm not logged in. I then log in again and the same thing happens.
I'm running Safari through Tiger if that matters :D

Something similar happend to me as well. By registring I got a new window, and as long as the older window was still open I couldn't get in..
I closed all, browsed back to the main page and logged in there only, then I could get where I wanted.
Not sure realy what happend...and its all fine now running Safari and Tiger4.6.

Tiziano, let me know if that fixes it for you. In the meantime i'll try to figure what causes this in the first place. The dead images only appear if you are not logged in.
Upon registering, firefox nor IE opens a new window.

Well, I couldn't get Lennart's way to work either but I loaded up IE 5.1 and got in that way.
A BIG sorry for the threadjack on all this gang.

Also sorry for the off-topic discussion :)
I have probably figured out what the issue is. Some browsers do not reckognise that cookies from http://c4dportal.com (http://c4dportal.com/) are the same as http://www.c4dportal.com (http://www.c4dportal.com/). So if you login under http://c4dportal.com (http://c4dportal.com/), you will not be able to download the linked attachments that require registration (these are linked with http://www (http://www/) etc).
If I am correct, you do stay loged in when you keep browsing, until you try to download free tutorials, right? (my last off-topic post btw, after this all will probably be clear ;))

Just to add momentarily to the O/T discussion, I am using Safari w/ 10.4.6 and have had no issues on 3 separate computers in navigating the Portal.
Hopefully then, this is just an isolated incident.

Arrgg, this is turning into a support thread :P
I've had several other people test the registration and login procedure. None of the safari users had issues (older versions were tested too).
And thanks for letting me know GruvD. It seems that safari is fairly random with these cookie issues.
Thanks for tips.
Looks like being an amazingly cool module !!
