Ive been toying with the idea now for a few weeks of looking into getting some proper qualification in 3d/cg etc. At the minute its just a hobby amuse myself, id like to take the next step and get trained and qualified which would hopefully lead to a job of some description.

The only thing thats stopping me is i havent a clue on whats available or were to start looking. are their general courses that cover the basics??/ then i could go on from their. are all the qualifications globally recognised or are they specific to each country??? can i do the courses from home???

i could ask another 50 questions but i wont bore you all. basically what im after is as much info as possible on turning hobby into a something i could use with a qualification at the end.

nearly forgot to mention. i live in the UK
