hey guys, i've not been posting much recently due to college, anyway i'm finished now (YAY!!) well here are a few things that i've been working on at college. firstly is a snowboard animation that i did for an assignment. we were asked to tell a story with a character in 3d. that was pretty much the whole brief. you can download my animation at www.eagle4.net/stuff/comeback.rar (http://www.eagle4.net/stuff/comeback.rar)

for another subject we got a real life client and had to do a project for them. my friend and i approached an architechual visulisation client called Ivolve Studios (the college was ment to find the clients but we didn't want to end up doing a website) anyway we were given the plans of a building which we had to create. we had to do 2 final renders one interior and 1 exterior and camera match it. we also had to make a 2 minute animation for a walkthrough of the building. this project was done as a group of 4. i did the building, materials, lighting, rendering, post production in photoshop. my friends did all the furniture, the camera match and the camera path. my friends also did the book store which you will see in the animation.

that was a bastard of a camera match as we were trying to match a photo that had been sticked together from a few photos meaning there was no fixed perspective to work from... lots of fiddling to get it looking right.

the animation can be downloaded at about 20mg zipped up www.eagle4.net/stuff/ivolve_small.zip (http://www.eagle4.net/stuff/ivolve_small.zip)

we are still waiting on our marks for my course, but our client was surprised that we got the kind of quality we did in the end. (Seeing as the 3d teaching at our college was really REALLY shit, and we had to basically teach ourselves)
