A little pre going to college stress right about now, so I did this to calm my nerves a litte(this is why I guess this character design is so dark lol). Anyways, it's photoshop 3.0. Any comments or criticisms is very much apreciated.

I like the way it resembles an old picture from a Knight and knighthood book...

On the other hand, my critics would be for the way the attention of the viewer is spread through all the composition, not highlighting anything specially; on any picture, you should decide where you want to focus the viewer attention, and work the overall look as to get that goal, placing that garish point in an atractive part of your canvas ( photography tips will help you a lot in this).
