C4DPortal is back online
www.c4dportal.com/forum (http://www.c4dportal.com/forum)
As you can see we have said goodbye to the traditional blue colour schemes we have used in our past. Don't worry, we are still loyal to Maxon http://www.c4dportal.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif.

Additions to C4DPortal,
Allthough things might not look that different, allot has been changed (especially for admins).

We have added a shop (http://www.c4dportal.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=317&d=1151065117) to c4dportal and will be bringing you low cost video tutorials ranging between 5 and 10 euro in the near future. We will give you the oppertunity to purchase dvds in the near future.
SELL YOUR OWN VIDEO TUTORIALS. We only ask 5% of your earnings and you can decide the price yourself. You can keep track of your sales. If you are interested, you can contact me through here (http://www.c4dportal.com/forum/sendmessage.php).
Request and sell models through our shop. This will be made available in a week or two.
We have replaced the gallery (http://www.c4dportal.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=319&d=1151065117) with one that is a bit more user friendly. The featured images system has been completely rebuilt for easier administration.
The images that are uploaded in the gallery forum will be automatically added to your personal gallery (http://www.c4dportal.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=318&d=1151065117), which can be viewed through your profile.
Added zbrush forum. Although we are currently learning more about this program ourselves, we have sufficient knowledge to help you on your way with this great program.
Keeping track of your own posts has been made easier through quicklinks (top navigation header).
Last but not least, all the benefits that vbulletin version 3.5.x has to give us.
Still to come,
-Gallery additions: search members with a gallery through memberslist.
-Portfolio system
-C4DPortal Podcast

Admin staff,
Our admin staff has increased to five members and our community is working closer together with http://www.cinema4d.be (http://www.cinema4d.be/). This means that we will be able to bring you more content than before and provide you with answers more quickly.

Well, that's great news.. I am not sure why I had to find out about it this way, but I am glad you got over your server-issues at last.

GruvDone, most admins weren't asked until a few days ago. We wanted to keep our website private until launch. Some of them joined for testing.

No Worries Tel, I just figured after not hearing back from you after my offer to help pay for the server repair that the Portal was placed on the indefinite back burner.

The Portal was my first home, and I am glad to see it resurrected once again.

Sorry if it came across that way. I did reply to your email and stated that c4dportal might be hosted on the same server as cinema4d.be. Shortly after, Slouchcorp decided to fund the server.

Anyway, hopefully the portal is here to stay this time around. Making regular backups ;)
