i've asked this some months ago but forgot again and unfortunately it killed those older comnustion threads from this server.

i was wondering how can i use the masking in combustion but see the final composite.
as far as i know you can only choose background, a particular image, but not the final composite. and i wanna see the final composite when i draw masks.

You could always use 2 views. One for your masking and one of the final output. Other then that, yeah, I usually just choose a background. Gets the job done quickly enough.

In Combustion 2 there is no way to make this. We discuss this subject under "Simple workflow question" topic. You can look it if you like:)
