New Portrait

Ok, here is today's progress on this portrait :D Since no one seems to care much anyway lol
I still wouldn't mind any suggestions or whatever :)

Here is the photo reference. And I know it's not "exact" I am still working on it, and I typically work with brighter colors so that's how I intended with color :) But I'm still monkeying around with some of the features.

Hello Nyela, dont you hate it when nobody cares to give ther point of view and what not?

Anyways, the first thing I notice in your painting versus the referance is that in the painting your friend seems younger then the photo. I think the reason for this is in the painting the head is to short and or to chobby cheeks. And yeah I agree the colors are a bit off compared to the photo but you already realise that. Other then that I think its pretty good (coming from a new artists might not mean jack).:thumbsup: keep going

Oh my...
I must say I'm utterly humbled by your talent. Only a few suggestions: First, in the photo ref his left eye seems to be lighter in color. Maybe just more reflection from the light though...hmm. Secondly, the right corner of his right eye looks a bit higher than the left corner of his left eye. Finaly, I think his left pupil would be smaller than the right since more light's reaching it. These are very minor details, i only noticed cause I scrutinize too much. Sorry if I seem harsh, please don't hate me.:D
