OK heres a simple question I sorta dont know yet in hi poly.. ok the stacks are like this right..

Now when you aply a UV Map to an area right, should u erace the meshsmooth modifer then aply the UVmap to it un mesh smooth model? or like do I have to leave that meshsmooth modifer there to get the right corridinates when I apply the uvmap?
because when I do erace it. and aply that uvmap then texture it, it kinda streaches in tight areas? what do ya think?
