I have a bit of a question...

Is it possible to keep a pass in RC1 or later? A specific one? Actually, im not even sure if its a pass problem...

Hmmm... How to explain this...

Ok, in the RC1 render window, you can see it render, once its done one part, the part changes for some reason...is it possible to stop this happening?

Example:

Before:

After:

Is there any way to stop this from happening and keep the "before" look?

Thanks.

(BTW, I took screens thats how I got the example image)

I'm no expert on the render pass system, but I recall reading somewhere that when you render you actually do two passes, one is the render pass and then a gamma correction pass.

That seems to be the case on your images. The first is the original render and the second looks like a gamma corrected version of the first. The good thing is that gamma correction is non destructive (I think so), so you could re-correct the gamma on post production.

Of course that will get tiresome sooner than later, so why don't you look on the gamma correction settings (render buttons, post processing options) and see if you can dissable or counter-act the automatic correction.

Gama is enabled. But as soon as I disable it , blender doenst even give me the first pass.

Well, at least now you know it is a gamma thing. You could try enabling the gamma but setting it to produce an intentionaly dark picture.
