Hey Folks, I usually don't post to many WIP since I have a hard time finishing anything that I start, lol. But I'm pretty satisfied with my progress on this concept. Maybe having it in the WIP section will force me to work on it daily.

Any crits are more then welcome.

Come on, finish this one! There is nothing like a finished work :)

At the moment, I just wish there were more detail to everything but I understand you are not there yet.

Looking fwd to updates!

Hi!
I agree, it's a good base (and more than a start).
You've got a really good colour scheme.
I suggest you, as Kefka said, to precise elements...specialy the helicopter with clean surfaces and volumes. The helice (dont know the name in english) is maybe too short...
The red points (fires) are not visible (recover by the machine) in the last step, but they could help to create depth (persp)in the image...
WHat do you think?these are just suggestions..
bye bye

Kefka - I'll definitely try my best and put my A.D.D on hold, haha. I'll do my best to finish this piece.

Arnocob - Thanks for the input. I took your advice and decided to use my current progress as a base. All I did today was re-trace my own painting :) I have never done that before, but figured it was worth a shot.

Now I haver a crisper outline and a nice base underneither. I'll add some more ink lines for certain details and then off to repainting again.

Here's todays progress.

careful with the shape of the helmet, it would add a bit around the shape of the skull. also im wondering about the head of the guy on the left in relation to his shoulders, it looks a bit odd, then again its odd to see guys in the passanger section with that kind of gear unless its the side gunner , and even then guys leave the kit off bar the mike, it can be uncomfortable to wear for some.

the angle of the rotors in the background is off a bit, draw a circle/ eplipse in perspective and it should give you the angle and range for them

Hi!
I agree about ellipse / rotor...and maybe it's important to draw it first before continue.
It'll helps.
What do you think about put another element attached to the door (for ex a gun or cables or something industrial) , just after soldiers? Or draw a bit more a kind of door (for ex a rectangle round at the angles)
I think it will allows more depth to the image...and suggest a sense of a wide open window..
Also, do you want to re-introduce the grey/blue values of the sky?
Hope I am not to intrusive!
Bye
