Hey guys!

Just wanted to attempt to show off my recently finished compositing and tracking reel. Hope everyone likes it as much as I liked making it. :)

720x480, uses H.264 (http://powerllama.com/reel/Reel720_H264.mov) 11 MB

360x240, also H.264 (http://powerllama.com/reel/Reel360_H264.mov) 4 MB

720x480, Sorenson3 (http://powerllama.com/reel/Reel720_Sorenson.mov) 22 MB, in case you don't have Quicktime 7

Mirror (http://www.shelbystong.net/images/Reel720_H264.mov) I have more bandwidth than I know what to do with now.

Any feedback on the reel would be awesome. Thanks for watching!

Good stuff, very solid tracks! What kind of video camera were you using? The BW sin city type effects were cool. The effects in the shot where you eat the bread thing missed me because I wasn't looking at the hands, maybe a couple bandages on the face would have made the effect more visible.

Thanks! I worked hard on those tracks.

For all of the letterbox stuff, it was shot on a JVC JY-HD10. I love my camera.

The Sin City shots are actually part of a larger short, that I want to finish soon. It's the link is in my sig. They're on the hands because in the short, I cut up a bunch of ingredients, and in the next shot I mysteriously have bandages everywhere. I agree it's almost not there in that shot, because my hands aren't really the main focus, but I like the subtle aspect of it too.

*edit

Oh and btw, I was born in Roswell! So I know there's a New Mexico :D

Just wanted to let you guys know that my portfolio site is live!

I still need to add stuff to it, but the basics are there so far.

New site looks great. Would like to see more tracked shots -- perhaps some more complex roto work?
