Brilliant. Had me chuckling even though it's raining outside.
Five stars!

Surely Lucas' last words should be "That's why I rip all my ideas off of old Japanese movies?"

Adam Benton did the entire "Dips" piece for "Pitching Lucas" all in Cinema 4D. I was very impressed and more impressed with Adams' first attempt to do fully rigged CG characters (the biker scouts) and I have to say it turned out stunning! Thanks for the support guys and hope you will share and pass the film around to others.

Here are some renders of the Biker Scout and bike I modeled, rigged and animated in C4D using CDIK. Texturing was done with Bodypaint 2.5.
The scout was modeled purely from photo reference found on the web, of both film stills and fan molds. The bike was referenced from the same, as well as a scale plastic model kit.

And an alternate render of one of my favourite shots from the DIPS sequence - the high five after blowing the speeding Ewok from the sky! ;)
