World Builder
Tabula Rasa is the latest massively multiplayer entertainment experience to come from the legendary Richard Garriott and an all-star development team of industry professionals. The World Builder will be responsible for designing and developing compelling environments for Tabula Rasa. Using our in-house terrain editor, and assets provided by our art team, the World Builder will decide layout, prop placement, and work with Mission Builders to develop the overall feel and story for both shared and instanced areas.
Requirements:
2 year of experience as a professional World Builder or Environment Artist
Minimum one shipped title
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to model simple objects in 3D Studio Max
Must be able to take design and art direction for your maps
Must understand flow concerns with large groups, and how to direct the player via subtle terrain clues
Previous experience working in a 3D editor
Preferred:
Experience in texture painting
Ability to model complex objects in 3D Studio Max
1+ shipped AAA title
