This painting started with a picture of a weeping child, as I painted the ogre forced his way into the painting and showed me why the child was weeping. He stole her innocence (symbolized by the broken wing). I painted this in Photoshop with a Wacom tablet.

I love it. It has that fantasy painting quality to it.

The whole Ogre plucking the wings of the girl is disturbing and can be perceived any number of ways.

Love the grass detail. :thumbsup:

Albert I am glad you like it. Yes this is a disturbing situation when wings are plucked or broken. And the Ogre doesn't seem sorry one bit, maybe I have to continue the story and make the ogre pay for his cruelty.

Good work! The fairy is very cute. The ogre is not very well integrated though. Some green reflections on the fairy would have been nice. Lovely atmosphere :)
