PIXOMONDO IMAGES in Germany is currently working on the world war one feature film project "The Red Baron". For this highly ambitious VFX project we are currently looking for an experienced Matte Painter / Digital Environment Artist to join our team.
Summary of Job:
Working closely and effectively with other artists from different departments. Creating realistic images and environments to match the overall look and feel of the film.
Primary Responsibilities:
Create set extensions and full CG shots of Epic Battle Scenes under Supervision and Direction of the Director and VFX Supervisor. Contribute to the visual and technical attributes of the production.
Requirements:
- 1+ year professional experience doing Matte Paintings for film
- ability to interpret artistic direction
- knowledge of Photography and/or Cinematography
- strong knowledge of Photoshop/After Effects and Advantage
- ability to work under tight deadlines
- experience with 3D software and compositing-skills are a plus
- ability to work in a team
