View Full Version : Have an axis always face where it is going
Rapier8 06-20-2006, 01:07 AM I want to have an object (a rod, actually) always have it's y+ axis face the direction it is moving. these rods are part of a PStorm that will swirl and i want the objects to face where they are going becaseu of the various other defelctors and gravity and things of that nature. How can i do this in xpresso?
any help would be great.

Usualy th z axis is used for this and you can do it with PAlignment and the ALign to travel direction option in it. If you want to use a different axis you can set it in the node, but you have to calculate it first from the velocity (direction of movement)
