Naughty Dog, Inc. is looking for a fulltime Senior Rigger with an EXTENSIVE professional history with Maya. Ideally this individual should possess the following skills:
iSetting up facial systems/expressions that includes a combination of joints and blend shapes with an emphasis on automating nuances and subtleties.
iExperience with viewport facial controls and set-driven key based facial control setups.
iStrong MEL knowledge that should include both procedural based scripting and UI based scripting.
i Patient & open to edits & requests.
iExperience with motion capture dealing with body and facial capture.
iAdvanced deformation setup which should include muscle based deformation through the use of joints, and advanced weight painting to achieve realistic human deformation.
iAdvanced animation control setup – inverse kinematics, constraints, set-driven-keys, utility nodes, expressions…etc
iStrong understanding of technical 3D principles such as vectors, transformations, spaces & constraints.
The position also requires a thorough understanding of human anatomy, specifically facial and anatomical muscle and bone structures. Candidates might be asked to rig a sample character for evaluation purposes. Reels and portfolios must include examples of professional work, and an exact breakdown of your specific contribution to the material submitted.
