DreamWorks Feature Animation is seeking a computer graphics fx/animation trainer. Reporting to the manager of digital training, responsibilities include:
Collaboration with the training team as well as with digital production teams. Development, creation, and maintenance of reference, training and tutorial materials, including handbooks, guidebooks, guidelines, and all (printed and electronic) training and reference material. Desired skills include concise business writing ability, adaptability/flexibility, hacker mentality, team player, excellent communication and problem solving. Required skills and experience: Digital production experience, either as trainer or artist, in a gaming or film or TV environment; Linux, Unix, Mac and PC; Maya, Photoshop, Houdini, Shake, Renderman, Mental Ray, Studio Paint; HTML, Excel, Word. Technical writing and university level teaching experience a plus, as is an understanding of programming and scripting languages.
