View Full Version : Animators Survival Kit questions
olioli 06-19-2006, 12:23 AM Hi,
I got the book and have been going thru it, my question is,
where are the exercises? I see a bunch of examples, but no concrete "assignments".
Can anyone shed some light
thanks

I don't really understand what that question is asking. Shed some light on what? Were you after a different type of book?
If you want exercises maybe you could just set your own and apply the principles that Richard Williams talks about in the book. Typical exercises are walks, runs and jumps, or have a character pick up a heavy object to show weight. You could even try different types of motion (realism vs cartoony) as well as short dialogue bits. The principles he talks about apply to pretty much anything so just find something that you want to do and then give it a crack.
