I tried to view your animation of this model but it seems that i'm missing the required compressor or codec that enables viewing in quicktime.
Got any idea what it is? (so I can try again).:hmm:

Looks great so far!
I only have one crit, on the top of the front wheel where it says Valvoline it looks like the texture is off by a little bit because it seems to repeat the letters and also from the same spot of dirt in front of the name... other than that AWESOME JOB
Edit -- after looking at it more I'm not sure if thats just the wierd angle the shot is taken from.. could be wrong
nevermind it looks great in the movie, good job

Very nice ! Cool to see a nice dirty car. The modelling looks flawless and the texturing too ... allmost ... but how did he manage to keep the wheel-bolts so shiny after driving through all that mud eh ?
Otherwise its :buttrock: :buttrock: :buttrock: :buttrock:

Bjolletts: hehe i'll fix that :)
silv: i made the textures in a simliar way to
http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=34951&perpage=15&pagenumber=3
but i didnt copy and paste the texture onto the main texture as he did, because the original dirty/mud image was lo-res
instead i used the clone tool with a bit of arough texture on it to make the main mud
then u rubber/erase parts away from it
hope that made sense

any more crits? - i'm running out of things to do
The first image in the desert looks off to me. Sort of flat looking. Can't quite place it, but it does. Sorry.
The renders with the white BG look great. Stunning actually. Get that look/feel in the first desert render with those and you have a winner.
Nice texturing job. Looks fantastic!!
