View Full Version : Exploded View Study
doh84 01-13-2003, 07:32 PM so here is my WIP of a exploded view study of the beretta 92fs (http://www.berettaweb.com/sezionati/sez%2092%20&%2092S.htm) and i would like to get plz some feedback on the idea and the conversion. the idea is not to do a damn standard game gun but a fully functional highpolystudy where each screw and screwhole really is modelled in and then render a picture of it like the link.
the render is unhappily not the best but this model quite kills my pc :/

Looks nice.. the bullet looks like a small lipstick though and the metal version of the gun looks a little plastic like.

This looks great, that would be really cool if you could animate the whole thing coming apart or getting put together. I attempted something like this but with a quad engine, I modeled the piston-rod-crank including bearings etc... from an exploded view like you have. It came out great but took forever to render out the x-ray material I applied to it. Are you working from any other schematics or just the isometric ones in the link. I had trouble finding side view schematics for my project (that would have helped imensly for scale).
