i can't fillet this edge when two lines are too close, what should i do?

would you send another view of it. i coulnd't get what kind of surface it is.

Yeah from that view it looks like the surfaces are at the same point in space.

or, if possible (small model), just post the 3dm file for us to take a look at...
realy hard to see what's the problem from just a pic like this... sorry
(There is a simple guide to posting 3dms on the rhino forum)

umm..ok well it doesnt look like fillets going to work because they are seperate surfaces.maybe you should try the 'pipe ,split,delete,blend' method shown in the 'rhino suface workshop' .

jupp, Im guessing your two surfaces are not joint together to a closed surface. Then you cant use the fillet fuction if your fillet size is over the width of the first surface. but anyways.... the rhino fillet function sucks bigtime... so the 'pipe ,split,delete,blend' method spincad talkes about is probobly your only solution. Lets all cross our fingers, that Rhino 4 will have working fillet and boolean functions!
