I love the lines as well, only thing that I'm not sure about is the amount of muscle in the stomach, especially the one going straight down the middle

I like definition, just is a bit muc for me

Women have a fat pad around the belly button and stomach that smooths out everything in the area. This is true even for very skinny or fit women. Only female athletes and body builders really differ from this.

Sheblom13, this coming along nicely. The female form has to be the most complex. Keep it up it bro, it's looking solid.

Looking at the side view I can say the mouth and chin especially need to come forward some more.
The body looks great.

Looking good... but your proportions seem to be off a bit (navel should be higher on a female, and her upper chest seems too short).

hey man, good model but like keith mentioned, proportion seems a bit off.
That's some great reference Keith, can you send me the image without the overlapping picture?

I like the steps you're showing of the face. Never done polygon so it's a great thing for me to look at for workflow =)
Let's see this model go somewhere!

It's from a very old Andrew Loomis book. I found it on the original 3d.sk site, but I'm not sure if it's still available there...

And anymore crits u have please tell me bout them!
Digiegg: Thanks alot man! I am having a look at the proportions now! And no problems bout the face man! It all good!

I guess I might as well post this reference (also from Andrew Loomis drawing book) as well...

...note the position of the ears, relative to the centerline of the eyes and the bottom of the nose.

body lkooks great. the face looks more like a man to me. the chin needs to be narrower, and the face overall looks likeit has too much fat compared to the body..

Keep up the good work though

I still reckon you gotta push the chin out forward a bit so it's even with the lips in the side view. The expression of the girl in your ref is not neutral, like she's biting her lips or something. Look at the reference Keith gave for the side view, that's much better.

Don't copy exactly just as a guide.

Well, I´m not a character modeler but in my eyes everything looks fine here! The meshflow seems to be good and the anatomy is correct.
I´ll have to model three persons soon so this is a nice inspiration.

Keep on working

Hey Sheblom,

Great start on the model, the topology looks very solid, very good flow. Can I ask what reference are ou using? have you got background templates to model from? because they are a must. As long as you have bags of reference material, 3d.sk is fantastic., you cant go wrong.

I think your mesh work is looking good overall but I in terms of looking natural it's not quite there.. It looks like you've done a lot of details on the model before the form was carefully proportioned.

One thing I'd suggest even though it's kinda late for this particular model.. is to try to nail your proportions with a low poly "cage" model first (blocking form and proportion) and then it's not so hard to edit your mesh later once you're doing the fine details. A lot of careful examination of the form up front on a low poly cage will save you tons of time later. :)

As it stands everything is essentially in the right place it just needs a lot of adjusting.. Keep it up!
