Hello everyone. I am new to character Rigging and was wondering if anyone can show me some good tutorials and the easiest program for begginers to start out with?

Also answer one questions.

After you make the 3d animation.. can you export the movie with the animation in it back to what it was or does it change to a different kind of file? Thanks alot!!!

I'd say the best place to start of would be the software's own help file. If u r using maya, hit F1 and go to the character animation section in the beginning of which he has explained character setup. Even other softwares have these tutorials. This way u'll learn some of the most fundamental and general concepts of rigging. From then on u can upgrade urself in many ways. U could go through the following sticky thread

or buy some really good books and DVDs online. Well known among them are "Art of rigging Vol1 and Vol2" (Expecting Vol3 soon),
www.cgtoolkit.com

Also the most recent Fahrenheit digital's rigging dvds.
