PS: I think there should be sticked threads for general monitor hard drive case power supply recommendations so people wouldnt get confused

$185, 21", Cheap, good quality, IBM, Aperature grill, excellent dot pitch (relative to ap. grill), and does 100hz at 1600x1200. 100hz is really easy on your eyes, BTW!

I bought a Samsung SyncMaster and I will never buy one of these again. It has internal reflection/halo problems, cannot find any good drivers on the internet since I lost the driver CD, and after just about 2 months use, it won't go as bright as it once did. The only resolution it'll do 100hz at is 1152x864 and lower resolutions. It will do about 75-80hz at 1600x1200, and 62 hertz at 1920x1440, and 60hz at 2048x1536. So it's nothing astounding and the same price as the awesome IBM monitor above.

Edit: If you want to spend about $450 after shipping, go search on Ebay for a used Sony 24" Widescreen CRT. They are excellent, but sometimes due to its size not easily obtainable. Look in your local papers to see if any schools or businesses are getting rid of "old monitors" because somethey they'll have these or other good CRT monitors. :)
