I am currently working on a little project for my friend's website. Trying to obtain text of company brand name such as NIKE, SONY, PANASONIC, and etc... Wondering if its possible to import text in .eps format? from brandofworld.com... If not, is there any way to achieve this?

hell yeah eps works fine.It gives you outline curves.just be careful that you dont use for profit though.

Great, how do I import .eps into Rhino? About Logo/Text... Yeah I know about priacy act. Will not use for profit just for model purpose :)

just go to _import and find the file.

Yeah I know how to import files in rhino... But importing in .EPS format?? its not in Rhino

yeah i noticed its not in the list,but find the eps (need all file types selected),select it,and it should import fine.

I still don't understand how its possible... Because In rhino, I click on File >> Import.... Then, I would see different types of formats... If .EPS is not in the list, there is no way to retrieve .EPS in rhino. Unless you can explain step by step how you did it? .P.S. I select ALL files, there's no .EPS listing there eventhough I knew it's there in the folder

eps should be next to PDF file type.

My understanding... I was told that 3.0 doesn't support EPS, I would need to upgrade to 3.4 or +

yeah im using 3.0 sr5b (latest). just download from www.rhino3d.com (http://www.rhino3d.com), its around 40 megs.no need for previous updates installed.

Yeah, upgraded to SR5... still the EPS weren't able to import in rhino.. Error says there is no curves or something in it. But it doesn't matter I find solution by exporting EPS into 3ds Max then export it to rhino with .max format and it works.

If you open explorer and simplke drag-n-drop into the rhino viewport you can then select import.insert whatever. That will allow for all importable file extensions. If that doesn't work, it wont work with whatever version you are running.

If you have any other 3d software import into that then export from then... then into rhino.
