CGTalk - More Open Season

I didn't think this new trailer was posted yet, sorry if it is.

So that first teaser (http://www.apple.com/trailers/sony_pictures/open_season/teaser/high.html) was about the forrest animals getting even and that first trailer (http://www.apple.com/trailers/sony_pictures/open_season/trailer2/medium.html) was about the bear getting out of the garage and in to the forrest. This one seems to combine the two storylines.

I think it's rather funny and although we've seen a lot of buddy animal animations the forrest location is a nice add. I like the designs a lot, love how they add something to the shapes there, but something feels off about the deer's eyes. Maybe too little flesh around them for some extra expression.

I'm real excited about this movie. Even if it turns out to be bad, the look of it is just so awesome. I think this is how computer animation should look!

Overall the movie seem pretty fun and chaotic. But I really don't like that deer, first of all, he reminds me too much of Donkey (from Shrek). Not that Donkey is a bad character, not at all, he just seem sort of like a rip off. But of course I could be wrong, its just a trailer after all.

Then its something about the deer's eyes, they seem to lack any kind of emotion, they are very stiff and really bugged me (probably just me though :)).

And then the last thing, Ashton Kutcher... I don't think I have to say anything more about that.

Otherwise the rest of the characters look awsome and fun, and I'm looking forward to this movie! I love the intro to the trailer (throwing rabbits on the window).

they put a lot of enery into making sure nobody downloads that trailer. It did look good full screen though.

looks decent, but the furry animal movies are starting to blend in...
