The Egyptian goddess Bastet was usually represented as a woman with the head of a cat.
Laying my claim down on this character. Will post drawings in a few hours and then start to model.

Anubis grew up with the instincts of the dog; thus Anubis was depicted as a jackal, or as a jackal-headed man.

I will not go the way of The Mummy Returns in my designs.As of now, Bastet will be the main character. if time allow I will put Anubis in.
Or I may merged both characters.

C`mon man! where´s that pussycat? It would be great to see her and Leigh´s Annubis running all over the place :D

Gonna try to put something up.

but i am learning XSI now.
Gotta a reg job
and finished up a freelance job, so i been strapped but i will get 2d art and I have modeled a base object too...

Will post by tomorrow (Sun) night.

Slight update
Goddess of fire, the Moon, childbirth, fertility, pleasure, joy, music, dance, protection from disease, all animals (especially cats),

Hmmmm with these attributes I am gonna go with the (over-abused) depiction of a sexy lady. She is at Anubis stature and is not suppose to be there sorta teasing him....
like cat annoys a dog.

Still wrestling with semi-human face vs full cat face.

I would love to mix attributes of
Samantha Mumba (TIME MACHINE and Irish Pop Star) face in there. She has such an Eartha Kitt style to her. Very Kat like.

**Colors are added only to block out the character vs background.

Haven't got my ideas on her outfit yet.

I modeled several different start bodies but still not happy so I am gonna start over on the mesh. In the early stages still --- so bear with me.

I know it doesn't look lke there is much difference but it is.
study the top to bottom.
I finished my freelance so I going next 72 hrs on this thing. I got the 2d finish as well so i will post.

Oy read
One half is done. I don't play with symmtry so well. because i am constant add more polys down the center.

I post cloth and ornaments in the next picture.
