View Full Version : Modeller wave displacement
cremegg 01-13-2003, 01:54 PM Are there any plugins/lscripts available which can distort a plane in modeller into a wave/sea pattern.
The plane must be deformed in modeller.
FREE plugins/lscripts would be preferable but if you can only think of a commercial tool then please still post.
Thnx for your help folks.

You can't just displacemap the plane in Layout and "Save TransFormed Object as"?
Just curious.

If you really very much, for some reason, very MUST do it in modeler without layout involved, there is a plug called texturescape... (handy when you need to make a landscape really quick)

with it you create planes of triangular pollys distorted/deformed with whatever texture you prefer (procedurals as well). You can use crumple or something to make it "oceany".
Itīs free
