I use Maya, and I need help on keeping the pupil round in a latice deformed eyeball?!

Haven't tried this, but you could try using a lattice which has more subdivisions on it, select the lattice around the area of the pupil/iris and create a cluster, then select the area outside of that and then create another cluster which has the area outside of the pupil/iris area...?

Have you tried to just remove the pupils`s cv s from the ffd set.
