jokaguitar 06-15-2006, 05:55 PM hi every one!!Iīm at the moment with a team developing a game, and we wanted to achive that inkīn paint result like in 3d max, that cell shadding look!!!but wen I export the scene to the x format no material is assingn!!!can someone help me!?!? is there any .fx file that could help me with this!? thanks in advance

For the paint, you would need to write a shader that clamps the lighting values. For the inking, the easiest way to do it is to simply duplicate the mesh, turn it inside out, and apply a matte-black material to it.
You can't just assign a Max scanline render material to a model and expect it to export to a .x file.

I know that I canīt export the ink nīpaint effect from max, but in the game what I wanted itīs something similar to that!!!that cell shaddinn look!!!I already download nvidia fx composer in hope that will give some help but I just can figure it out!!!does any one were knows!!???

he just said, duplicate the mesh, push it out a bit then flip the normals and apply a matte black mesh to it.
