Intro:

I'm making my own personal 3D project for some time already. After actual planning and structuring it had appeared to be pretty huge, so I decided to make it in episodes. Here's the first episode called "Awakening" I've made a couple of weeks ago. It's served to tell the idea behind 'the organic marionette' type characters that'd be present in the whole story later:

Concerning idea and meaning - I have all variety of responses already - from instant proper understanding to not understading at all :)

The idea of this episode is - character suddenly finds out that the reality he lived and believed in is nothing more but a piece of pre-defined "film" made by someone "higher" to hide the actual Reality from his eyes. He finds himself in a gruesome world, where he's no longer "the highest creature", but a puppet, a marionette.
